DISRESPECTED
too much pent up angry energy for me to sleep. all due to being constantly disrespected at my workplace, whether it be directly by my coworkers who love to use me as a punching bag (sarcasm is a thin veneer for people unleashing their unhappiness) or by the fact that i have worked there for nearly a year and make only 20 cents above minimum wage while having taught all but a few of my coworkers on how to properly close.
i am so over everything about that place. i actually had dreams recently about getting a new job as a dishwasher and my excitement in the dream was ridiculous. it is time to move on now more than ever.
my next steps are to start a vigorous search for a new job and to examine my own behaviors that invite such disrespect to occur and stop them, so that this pattern does not carry itself to others jobs i get.
